Piano and Voice Students Excel at Federation Festival

Congratulations to thirteen students of Melora Arant and Dr. Christine Rogers who participated in Federation Festival and earned Superior and Excellent ratings in piano and voice auditions! The Festival is an annual event held at Johnston Community College by The Clayton Music Club in cooperation with The National Federation of Music Teachers. Students perform before one or more judges who give evaluations of the performances and compliments on the students' hard work. Greta Hanks, piano student of Dr. Rogers, is advancing to the state level in the scholarship competition. All students who rated superior, even the very young ones, are invited to play during the Honors Recital at JCC on February 26. Well done, students!
